The Multi contact red banana plug is a rigid, 2mm plug with spring-loaded MULTILAM for self-assembly of test leads. These inline plugs have a rigid contact with solder bucket connection. The press-fit rigid insulator body allows for maximum cable diameter of 2.1mm. It is suitable for many applications that call for a 2mm diameter plug connector. Initially, the test plug insulator is assembled over an associated cable before soldering into the solder bucket. It is later press-fitted over the 2mm plug tang to finalise and complete the SLS2-S inline plug connector assembly. It has a voltage rating of 30VAC and 60VDC and current rating of 10A.
