Use this dual float switch from Sensata Cynergy3 to control the filling or emptying of tanks with electromechanical relays. Its polyphenylene sulphide (PPS) body and nitrile gasket make it resistant to abrasion and sunlight, so it's suitable for use in tough industrial environments. These materials can also withstand exposure to harsh chemicals, including acids, alkalis and bleaches. The switch mounts vertically on the top of a fluid tank or reservoir, so installation is straightforward. It's suitable for high-level and low-level switching in a wide range of applications, including food and drink processing.
The cable entry point should not be submerged in water. To ensure safe use, install the switch so that the mounting thread and cable entry are above the maximum liquid level.
The Cynergy3 RSF66 dual switch point series are float switches for high and low level switching. The RSF66 float switches are made using Polyphenylene Sulphide (PPS) in grey, which is ideal for a wide range of different liquids. This makes the RSF66 range versatile for different applications.
Dual float switches can be used to control filling or emptying tanks with electromechanical relays.
UL recognised
The Cable entry point must NOT under any circumstances be submerged:
– On the Horizontal switches they must be fitted through the wall of a tank so that the cable is on the outside.
– On the vertical type the mounting thread and cable entry must be above the highest level of the liquid.
