This white ceramic bead from Goodfellow offers a practical solution for extremely high-temperature electrical insulation of wires. It has a bore size of 2.5 mm and is supplied in quantities sufficient to cover 3.5 m of wire.
Thanks to its steatite Ker 220 construction, this bead has high electrical resistance. It can withstand temperatures up to +1200°C and is abrasion resistant, so it's particularly useful when you're running wires close to a heatsink.
