Need to crimp a connector onto an RG58 or RG59 coaxial cable? This crimp die set from RS PRO is designed for use with RS PRO's universal crimp tool. Simply place the wire into its connector, fix the die in the crimp tool and use it to tightly squeeze the connector and the wire together. The crimping will puncture the connector to let data be transmitted through it.
These dies create a hexagonal crimp in a choice of three sizes or a small square crimp. They're supplied with bolts to fix them into the crimping tool.
The parts meet the requirements of US (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and European (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic control standards, meaning they won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge. Coaxial cables with crimped connectors are commonly used by cable operators, telephone service providers and broadband suppliers to transmit video signals, data and voice communications.
