This high-tech micrometer uses both imperial and metric units with a high level of precision. Micrometers are commonly used in workshops for mechanical and electronic applications.
Battery-operated and easy to use, this external micrometer measures the outside dimensions of an object, such as its diameter or its length. The device has a resolution of 0.001 mm, which is the smallest measurement the device can record, and an accuracy level of ±0.004 mm. The tips are MADE of a metal carbide for corrosion resistance. You can switch and convert between units of measurement at the push of a button, preventing any accidental miscalculations.
The device complies with ANSI/ESD S20.20 and BS EN 61340-5-1 standards for protection against electrostatic discharge. As part of the RS PRO range, it's been thoroughly tested to ensure quality, accuracy and safety.
