RS PRO Silicone O-Ring Seal, 2.9 mm Bore, 1/4 in Outer Diameter

This RS PRO O-ring seal is well-suited to applications in the food processing sector. Made from silicone, its low chemical reactivity and low toxicity mean it won't release harmful substances into food. It can stand up to regular cleaning and also be used over a wide range of operating temperatures, from a minimum of -60˚C to a maximum of +200˚C.
The O-ring has a bore of 2.9 mm and an outer diameter of 1/4 inch. It's available in bags of 50 pieces and in both metric and imperial sizes.
O-rings are used to create a tight seal against liquids or gases, with compression of the material forming the seal. Silicone offers excellent flexibility and low compression set characteristics, as well as good resistance to ozones and acids. It also weathers well for a long service life. Like all products from RS PRO, this O-ring has been exhaustively tested for safety.
