Cat 6 PVC Patch Leads

These RS PRO patch leads, also known as Ethernet patch cables are manufactured using Category 6 cables, commonly referred to as Cat 6 Cable. They are electrical cables often used in office environments to link computers to a network hub, router or Ethernet switch.
These RS PRO Cat6 patch cables are designed for both mechanical and electrical reliability, using quality materials. They deliver a patch cord solution offering high performance, with a design feature ’one style fits all’ cord application.
They are unshielded twisted pairs (U/UTP), a popular type of cable consisting of two unshielded wires twisted around each other. Due to the cables being twisted together both cross-talk and system noise levels are reduced.
These RS PRO Cat 6 patch leads are available in different lengths and colours, which make the identification of the cable easy. The patch cable is made up of several thin strands of copper wire, which offer both kink protection and flexibility and are compatible for a 10-Gigabit Ethernet.

Care Instructions

When storing your Cat6 patch cables, we advise you lightly roll your cables into a loose coil, going with the natural curve of the wire. When not in use, we suggest the cables are stored in a protective case where dust and impurities will not get into the connector ends.
