Introducing the RS PRO Multifunctional Moisture Meter, a highly reliable device used to quickly and effectively measure moisture content in a range of materials, including wood, plaster and concrete. The RS PRO moisture meter features pinless technology, allowing an accurate moisture measurement to be carried out without damaging the surface of the material, making it an easy to use, non-invasive tool to measure moisture content.
A pin-type moisture meter (or damp meter) contains metal points that are inserted into the material to take a reading, whereas a pinless meter uses non-invasive technology to detect how waveforms are affected by the presence of moisture in the material.
