RS PRO 4 mm Stud Anti-Static Wrist Strap

This RS PRO anti-static wrist strap is designed to ground you, preventing any build-up of static electricity on your body from damaging sensitive electrical equipment. You can also use it to prevent sparks in operating theatres where oxygen or explosive gases are present. The elasticated fabric can be adjusted for a comfortable fit.
The product uses conductive fibres to ensure reliable and continuous contact with your wrist for consistent protection. There's no metal touching your skin, which helps make this ESD (electrostatic discharge) accessory non-allergenic.
Electronic technology can be highly sensitive to ESD. Protection against static charges is needed whenever these items are handled, including during manufacturing, testing and servicing.
