RS PRO Door and Window Switch Surface Mount 500 mA, 50 V AC/DC

These surface mounted door and window switches from RS PRO are a practical addition to your home or business' security set-up. They're fitted with two contacts, one of which is mounted on a door or window frame and the other onto the door or window itself. Upon opening the signal between these two contacts is broken, which triggers your alarm system.
The switch comes in a lightweight, aluminium housing that's corrosion-resistant and hardwearing. It also has a broad operating temperature range, from -40°C to +85°C, thanks to its high level of thermal tolerance. A 750 mm-long cable allows the switch to be installed a little further away from your alarm or power source if necessary. The permanent actuating magnet has a moulded design that makes it easy to fit.
