When you need to set alerts if the level of liquid in a tank is too high or too low, use this vertical float switch from Sensata Cynergy3. It's made from polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) for durability and resistance to chemicals, making it suitable for use in demanding industrial applications. The unit can safely operate at temperatures ranging from -10°C to +85°C, so it's a good choice for use in harsh environments. Its direct load switch output ensures efficient power consumption and reliable control of pumps.
To ensure safe use, the cable entry point should not be submerged and must be kept dry at all times. Simply keep the mounting thread and cable entry above the highest level of the liquid in the tank to prevent electrical hazards.
The Cynergy3 RSF66 dual switch point series are float switches for high and low level switching. The RSF66 float switches are made using Polyphenylene Sulphide (PPS) in grey, which is ideal for a wide range of different liquids. This makes the RSF66 range versatile for different applications.
Dual float switches can be used to control filling or emptying tanks with electromechanical relays.
UL recognised
The Cable entry point must NOT under any circumstances be submerged:
– On the Horizontal switches they must be fitted through the wall of a tank so that the cable is on the outside.
– On the vertical type the mounting thread and cable entry must be above the highest level of the liquid.
