A highly accurate tool for detecting small objects at close range, this through-beam photoelectric sensor from RS PRO can detect objects within a range of 30 mm. Through-beam sensors are ideally suited for use in foggy, dusty or dirty environments, as the light from the transmitter is aimed directly at the receiver.
The fork-style sensor comes in a lightweight but sturdy aluminium alloy housing. The panel-mount device comes prewired, with termination to a 2-metre, 4-wire cable. With a response time of 1 ms, it's a precision tool that's suitable for use in automated processes.
This product comes with surge protection and reverse polarity. It conforms to international (IEC) and European (CE) standards as a safe and effective photoelectric sensor and is IP67 rated for protection against dust and condensation.
