TDK Lambda Series EFE300M, EFE400M 300W and 400W, High Density Enclosed AC-DC Medical Power Supply
EFE300M 300W and EFE400M 400W high density AC-DC enclosed, low profile 6.5x3.5 medical power supplies with an AC input range of 90-264Vac and dual fusing as standard. These EFE300M 300W and EFE400M 400W AC-DC power supplies have a low leakage current of < 300μA, 4kVac reinforced input-to-output isolation, an output-to-ground isolation of 1500Vac and meet EN/IEC/UL/CSA 60601-1 safety approvals for medical equipment, making them suitable for use in B (body) and BF (body floating) type medical applications. These EFE400M medical power supplies have active power factor correction to EN61000-3-2 and are able to achieve a power density of up to 17.4W/in3 under peak load conditions and 13.1W/in3 under continuous loading. A Multi-Resonant Topology helps boost the efficiency of these EFE300M and EFE400M medical power supplies to 90% typically and a built in 8 bit micro-controller allows digital control of the power supply enabling increased efficiency. Other features that these EFE300M and EFE400M AC-DC enclosed medical power supplies offer include redundant operation with built in ORing FET and a high current standby output of 5V/2A making these power supplies suitable for high integrity applications such as broadcast, instrumentation, routers, servers and security networks.
