If a traditional temperature controller isn't precise enough for your needs, you could always consider a PID controller instead. Proportional integral derivative controllers such as this one from RS PRO use a very precise control loop mechanism to ensure process temperatures remain stable when it counts.
While standard controllers can only switch between on and off – leading to overshoots and lag in process temperatures – PID controllers rely on feedback from a thermocouple to make more accurate readings.
