It has a male interface module plug with 40 contacts and a DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung, or the German Institute of Standardisation) rail mount design. Through its screw-clamp and a 7 mm insulating strip, it keeps your connection secure.
Thanks to its simple ejector mechanism, you can eject your cables easily, too. The component is designed for cables with a cross-sectional area of 0.2 mm² to 2.5 mm².
