TE Connectivity Grace Inertia 3.3 mm PCB Headers

Grace Inertia PCB headers with a 3.3mm pitch. These Grace Inertia 3.3 mm PCB headers are designed to prevent human error during assembly by using an inertia locking mechanism which is built into the housing. The inertia locking mechanism simultaneously completes the circuit and locks the connector. An audible 'click' is produced to confirm mating. If improper mating is attempted the receptacle and the header contacts are prevented from making contact. This locking mechanism prevents defective products caused by half-mating and ensures that reliable connections are made. The inertia locking mechanism also prevents unmating caused by external forces providing a reliable connection when the connector is in use.
These Grace Inertia 3.3 mm PCB headers have an ergonomic design for easy manual operation. The high profile of these PCB headers provides a PCB to contact height of 8 mm which prevents urethane coating from flowing into the housing. This feature is useful when the connectors are used in applications such as washing machines where waterproofing is required. Polarizing pegs or bosses on these Grace Inertia PCB headers provide accurate alignment on the PCB
These Grace Inertia 3.3 PCB headers feature four colour coded keying methods to avoid mis-matching and blind mating.
