Sloan 8.2mm Flush IP68 LED Indicators, 344/348 Series
The 344 and 348 series LED indicators have been designed to suit a wide range of applications from 9 to 28 Vdc. Most LED drivers utilise a resistor in order to limit the supplied current but they are only able to do this for a single voltage. These units have a built-in current driver which is able to limit the supplied current to 20mA across the entire voltage range. The major benefit to this is the LED indicator will always have the same luminosity even if there is a variable voltage supply. This removes the need to store different versions in stock helping to drive down costs and maintenance time.
