Immersion Cartridge Heaters

This design of heater allows the stainless steel sheath to be immersed directly in to semi solids or liquids up to the thread mounting bush. The heater is constructed from 316 Stainless steel which has a welded end cap and threaded, tapered, mounting bush.

Warning

For safety reasons, it is recommended that the heater block/body is bonded to earth.
The heater must not be immersed in to any liquid above the mounting bush as the flying lead termination is not sealed.

Cartridge Heaters

In order to obtain optimum performance from these products, it is advised that temperature sensing and control elements be used with them.
