chipKIT™ Cmod Development Board

The Diligent chipKIT Cmod is a development board that incorporates the Microchip surface mount PIC32MX150F128D 32-bit microcontroller into a convenient 600 mil 40-pin (2 x 20) DIP format. This makes the Cmod ideal for prototyping with the featured device on a breadboard or other scenarios where using a surface mount device is impractical.

The board includes two 6 x 2 peripheral module (Pmod) headers. These allow a wide array of differing technology and functionality types to be easily added to a prototype design through use of the many available Diligent Pmod boards.

The featured PIC32MX150F128D is a 32-bit microcontroller based on a MIPS32 M4K core. It provides up to 83 DMIPS, 128K of flash memory, 32 k of SRAM data memory and a comprehensive set of peripherals.

The chipKIT Cmod is compatible with multiple Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) including Microchip’s MPLAB X IDE when used with an appropriate programmer such as the Microchip PICkit 3 (Part PG164130).
