From Mennekes these low voltage connectors feature a unique connection system that ensures easy and reliable coupling between corresponding plugs and sockets. The cable mounted socket features a hinged socket protector, and both the plug and the socket are rated to IP44, meaning they are well protected against water splashes.
The low voltage sockets are also available as a panel mounted version.
Mennekes Low Voltage
High quality, high performance yet competitively priced industrial plugs and sockets having a rated voltage of 20-25V a.c. 50-60Hz and a current rating of 16A. Conforming to the requirements of EN60309-2:1992/BS4343:1992 for use with power tools and portable hand lamps where operating conditions demand that extra low voltage operated equipment is used.,All accessories are load breaking and manufactured from polyamide with excellent insulating properties and resistant to petrol, oil and sea water.,Specifiers can easily discriminate between low voltages using the prescribed range of minor keyways.,Where it is thought necessary to run a safety earth conductor care must be taken to ensure that all low voltage accessories in the industrial unit are wired in accordance to house specification.
