Makita Lithium-Ion 3.0Ah Power Tool Battery
Long lasting lithium-ion power tool batteries from Makita which are suitable for use with their power tools. These lithium-ion batteries are 40% lighter than a similar Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) battery and have an extended length of time during which they hold their charge.
Lithium-ion batteries have longer life spans than Ni-HH or Ni-Cad which is due to the increased number of charging cycles Lithium-ion offers and the run time between charges.
Makita battery design allows each battery cell to be kept at an optimum temperature with extends the battery life. These batteries are also lightweight and shock absorbing
