Amphenol MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Backshells.
The band backshells provide a full 360° shield termination.
Dual purpose spin coupling backshells may be used in conjunction with heatshrink boots or spring clips (for example, stock no. 241-1519) to terminate braided cable jacketing. The threaded coupling end rotates separately from the body so that cable is not twisted upon removal of backshell from the connector body. The mating interface of these backshells features anti-rotation teeth and a sealing 'O' ring.
Amphenol MIL-DTL-38999 Series III, Black Zinc Nickel
Amphenol's RoHS compliant plating alternative to Cadmium. Black Zinc Nickel plating is now offered on a wide variety of connectors and accessories. This conductive and non-reflective finish is approved for 500hrs salt spray endurance and is fast becoming the new defence industry standard.
