MikroElektronika Mikromedia HMI Smart Display
The Mikromedia HMI family from MikroElektronika are heavy-duty, high-brightness, industrial grade smart displays. Available in a range of different screen sizes, the Mikromedia range is an ideal HMI (Human Machine Interface) solution in any number of applications. Containing all the essential components you will need and with a simple USB interface, the Mikomedia range simplify the process to get your project up and running quickly and easily.
Each screen size in the range are offered as either non-touchscreen, capacitive touch or resistive touch. Some capacitive tough displays come with an additional black/white bezel, this information can be found below.
Each Mikromedia HMI display module features the FT900Q MCU with additional circuitry on the back. With MikroElektronika's range of software tools, you are able to download user interface designs for an efficient and professional setup, so you don't have to create all your screens/icons from scratch. Also within the Mikromedia range, either the FT812 or the FT813 graphics controller IC is on-board, designed for all sophisticated HMI solutions. Mikromedia HMI modules are supplied with an 8MB Flash storage plus a slot for a MicroSD card.
Along with the standard HMI features, the Mikromedia family features Haptic feedback (excluding the 3.5 displays). This functionality means you can programme your display to provide feedback to the users touch, through vibration or motion. Haptic feedback is ideal for providing users with confirmation of functions when using the screen.
