From RS PRO, this robust screw extractor set is ideal for removing broken screws and threaded bolts without damaging the thread. With a hardened chrome vanadium steel construction, the splined screw extractors are suitable for turning and retrieving many types of studs and bolts of medium tensile strength. With a hardened alloy steel construction, this kit promises a long and dependable work life.

A tap wrench is supplied by RS PRO 444-891.

Applications

The screw extractors can be used with a tap wrench to be securely forced into pre-drilled problem screws, and then easily turned. By drilling into the screw or bolt head, and inserting these screw extractors with careful force, the screw can be extracted in the usual way without having to wrench or dig. Tool Care
