Benefits of the Pepperl+Fuchs inductive sensors include built-in diagnostic functions, which shows the loss of the actuator from the measuring or detection area. The inductive position and angle measurement systems also have integrated temperature compensation, making them well suited for outdoor and harsh environments.
Both linear and rotary positioning sensors are available.

Pepperl + Fuchs Inductive Position Measuring System

The inductive position measuring systems PMI offers an ideal solution for any industrial positioning task. The system easily adjusts linear movements from millimeters to meters, or partial rotary motion to full circle motion. The measuring system comprises of the PMI sensor and a robust steel actuator.
