Kestrel 4000 Bluetooth Pocket Weather Meter
This Kestrel 4000 with Bluetooth Technology has an orange case. Bluetooth enables users to communicate with their Kestrel at distances up to 30ft (9.1m), which also maximises the battery life of the weather meter. Each Bluetooth meter includes custom communication software designed to quickly and easily configure data transmission frequency, download logged data, graph data and transfer data to other applications. Users no longer have to purchase an interface separately because the Kestrel 4000 with Bluetooth includes the software necessary to facilitate wireless communication. The instrument is widely used e.g. by scientists, athletes, fire-fighters, automotive technicians and agricultural workers. They use it not only for current weather conditions but also to track changes in the environment and make predictions.
