IP68 Metric Skintop® MS-M-EX-EExe II Gland
From Lapp, this Skintop series of cable glands have and incredibly robust construction, and are suitable for ATEX applications. The Skintop MS-M-EX-RRxe II Cable Gland has a brass nickel plated body, and a high degree of environmental resistance.
With a simple screw in design, the cable glands are used to secure cables through panels, junction boxes and machinery housing. They feature a variable clamping range and a good degree of strain relief, for a reliable and durable cable connection.

These metric Skintop glands are for use in electrical equipment in areas with a risk of explosion that require “e” security, such as;

Their robust design and high degree of environmental resistance also makes them ideal for;
• Mobile Applications in Offshore & Marine
Environment
These Skintop cable glands are sealed to IP68, which means they have an excellent degree of protection against particle ingress, and are waterproof even when submerged in shallow water. This makes them ideal for use in harsh environments and even some outdoor applications.
As tey are ATEX certified, they are ideal for use in enviroments where explosion is a risk, for equipment group II / Category 2G+1D.
Supplied with
Locknut, Viton O-ring and a polyamide insert.
