Molex Mini-Fit TPA 2 Cable Assemblies
Mini-Fit TPA 2 cable assemblies in a range of cable lengths terminated either end with a Mini-Fit 4.2 mm pitch female power connector with TPA (Terminal Position Assurance). These Mini-Fit TPA 2 connector cable assemblies are constructed using UL1061 discrete wires to help make design, prototyping and production easier. The wires are multi-coloured to assist with correct connection. These cable assemblies feature pin to pin mapping from the receptacle to the PCB header which reduces engineering time and costs. The Mini-Fit TPA 2 power connectors have fully isolated contacts which are protected against damage caused by mishandling and mating. A TPA retainer with a secondary locking feature holds the contacts securely in place and reduces terminal back-outs. A positive lock on the connector ensures that the cable assembly is securely attached to the mating connector preventing accidental unmating due to vibration or mishandling. These Mini-Fit TPA 2 wire-to-board cable assemblies are designed for use with series 5566 and 5569 Mini-Fit Jr headers and series 5559 Mini-Fit Jr plug housings.

This Mini-Fit Series 30070 TPA crimp housings are designed for power or wire-to-board applications. The Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) feature helps ensure the crimp terminals are fully engaged and prevents terminals from backing out in high vibration applications. They are dual row and offer lock to mating part.
